Last JR camp

What good kids I had his year! Just looking back on the photos, it reminds me of how well behaved and sweet they all were. We had fun together even if camp isn't my favorite thing in the world.

 

 

Sunflowers!

I'd heard about the sunflowers last year, but never made it there, so this year, didn't miss out! Met my friend Amy there. It was beautiful but so crowded! Many birds there to feast on the seeds.

Jr Rangers again, older kids

Canoeing again, journals again, but this time shelter building, bluebirds, stream surveying and more. Second year, new challenges, shorter camp. 

Older Jr Rangers again

My second session of camp was the older kids, many returners from last year. Because I knew the kids and their capabilities, I tried a few new things that went really well. With these kids I don't have to worry about managing behavioral issues. It was a relief.

July started and so did my week long Junior Ranger camps. July is also a busy programming month so I had my hands full. Everything went well though and no issues at all, success!
