David and I ventured just a bit south of town to Port Ludlow one Monday afternoon to explore, specifically to find the waterfall. David has lived in PT for around 12 years and had never known there was one just 20 minutes away. It wasn't huge or spectacular but unexpected in a suburban-esque community of retirees. There were some nice trails around Port Ludlow we found near the marina. I spotted many birds and had a lot of fun IDing and photographing them. David saw his friend Pirate Ship Paul's boat cruising around the marina. It was a beautiful day!
