Reinventing life

Well, I've done it before, and here I am, doing it again. Trying to get one's bearings and get a life going in a new place is a challenge. Especially when I've left a place where I worked so hard to attain that then left. Whoops. In the meantime, everyone says that I should make the best of it and I can always return. I haven't made too many friends yet, but I spend alot of time with Dom and his family who visits often. I've already had my first PT visitor, thank you Sam!!! It warmed my heart to have a piece of the PNW next to me.

I try to keep up cooking and baking, things that make me happy, and I went to a meetup.com event...it was okay, a walk in the woods. I'm still struggling to find work life balance (currently waitressing at night), sleep schedule and workout schedules allude me for the time being. Feeling off mostly, but I'm a fighter so I'll keep at it. Here are some random shots below. Living with Dom means you'll probably see more photos of me since he likes to take photos almost as much as I do!

Me and baby Escher (Dom's nephew) - he officially got my baby clock ticking because I love him so much

Spa night with Dom's brother, sister-in-law and sister-in-law's sister (Steph, Marlee, Guiseppe)

Sam visited me and stayed a week - there was a conference here in town, hurray!

Hofbrahaus beers - Dom said "look excited"

Classic Dom

The "hike" led us through a city park to the top of this hill

where we stretched...this was the last time i did anything resembling yoga, booo

the "hike" ended at the botanical gardens...haven't went in yet

I do a lot of cooking and baking for Dom, he treated me and did the cooking this night. I look like I've aged 5 years in the past month
