Hard times

A few weeks ago I had to put down a cat I had been housesitting for. Even though it wasn't my cat, this was a pretty miserable experience. The owners had traveled to France and I was able to get in touch with them to check before going through with it. They knew it was likely to happen during their trip and before leaving had given me permission to euthanize either cats. Of course, I thought in 3 weeks this would never happen. :(

Mango was always very scared of me and hissed if I was more than 3 feet away from him, but in his last days, I was allowed to pet and hold him - remarkable. He'd seek me out. He was really beautiful, orange kittie with nice fluffy hair. I took a few photos of him before our last trip to the vet.  RIP Mango
