Eggs and Penguins

March brought on some more new experiences and ones that were old. My friend Justin scored two free tickets to a Penquins game. The seats were terrific, only in Row K, when most people I know are in the nose bleeds. Face value was $179! Unfortunately the Pens lost to the Philadelphia Flyers, but they did knock out a panel which was exciting to watch. An endeavor to a hockey game though is quite expensive. We were lucky to not pay for parking or tickets, but beers were $12 a piece, ack!  Was fun and great to experience this in such a hockey driven city, but I won't be able to make this a habit with the costs.

The Pens warm up
Dom and I dyed eggs for Easter. I found a tie dye kit at the grocery store and couldn't resist. They didn't turn out exactly as we expected, but it was fun nonetheless. I can't recall the last time I did this, perhaps 20 years ago? Maybe more. It was good quality roommate time and fun to eat the results!
