One of the regulars at work told me about a bike trail and raved about it for the past few months. I finally looked it up and set out for a ride a few weeks ago. It lived up to the hype and I'd have to say, it's even better than Port Townsend's Larry Scott trail. The only downside is you have to drive to get to it, but once there, you have 20 miles of uninterrupted trail from Freeport to Butler. The trail was quiet and followed a creek along the way, only occassionally crossing over roads. It was well kept and marked. I only went 1/2 way, so next time, I'll have to start where I left off and bike the rest. Maybe next week.
