Steve Miller band...almost

Dom's dad, G, got us free tickets to the Steve Miller band. It was an adventurous evening. First we stopped to get his sister Kristie, then parked at his dad's office. I got a tour of the office before we walked to Station Square. This is an area I'd never been to before. We stopped for a beer and pretzel bites then headed to the concert. By the time we got there, had some ice cream and identified where we'd be sitting, the storm started. It rained, it poured, torrential at times. There was lightning, thunder, the works. People crowded under the metal bleachers, but we hung out under an overhang near where they served food and drinks. Must have hung out for an hour before we saw a break and ran for the car. At least the people watching was good, lots of rednecks, I actually saw a guy with a dinner roll tucked in the side of his visor. The Pittsburgh "yinzers" were there in full force. Made it back mostly dry and got to tour Kristie's apartment before going home. Dom snapped this quick pic for me and the blog. His dad is to the left. This is the stage we never go to see anything in. :(
