Neighboring town Thomas, WV, where we considered staying had a few options of accommodations but in the end, I think we made the right choice by staying in the slightly larger Davis, which was 5 minutes down the road. Thomas had many more shops to explore, although seeing as it was a Tuesday, most were closed, boohoo. There was a music venue also called the Purple Fiddle which I'd heard about months ago from neighbors, and a brewery in both towns.
