I hadn't been to Fort Frederick since I was a little girl, maybe 8?, but I had a clear memory of being there. The state hosted a field day for park employees here and I was so excited to be with all the staff and get free stuff and see and do cool things. I was high on life that day, literally. It was a great day so much fun.
