Winter is coming...whoops, it's here.

Below are some random photos I wanted to share. It's been a mild winter so far on the east coast (hurray!) which has meant spending time outdoors. It's been a hard winter in general for me though, moving my life yet again, heartache, being sick with various colds for over 6 weeks, and the constant juggle of work. I'm currently working 3 jobs, ack! Two are side jobs which only provide around 10-15hr/week, but I'm at 37.5hr in the school now so it can feel like overload. I've tried my best to get out hiking, trying new trails and spending time with friends. These are the things that calm my mind and bring me peace. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful network and community of friends, all around the country, and WORLD if you count Bron! They have made calls, sent mail, packages, made visits, made meals, had me stay over and given me the love I have needed. Over the holidays, I hung all the cards I got up on a string in my windows so I could be reminded each day of all the wonderful people in my life. You people make my world go round, you are my family and source of joy, thank you friends!

Joe and I hiked Sugarloaf Mtn one day back in mid-December, it was warm and sunny. I hadn't hiked this in over 10 years.

Just a week ago or so, Bethany and I hiked from her house into Catoctin National Park to Chimney Rock. You may recall I did this hike in October with another friend.

Bethany and her adorable Aussie Chloe.

A hanging that Allie gave to me over a year ago. Lacey found a nice place to hang it in the house. At first read I thought it was really sad, but now I think it's a good reminder, one day at a time and one foot in front of the other.

Awesome people sent me awesome holiday cards, thank you!!!
