Jr Rangers, session 1

And it began...camp. I'd been loving life and enjoying my job and then I started to feel not as happy. Direct correlation with leading camp, mood down turned. I recall the craze of last year now, the feelings I'd surpressed, oh yeah...  That's why camp counselors are all under the age of 25, because it's exhausting and really you're more of a glorified babysitter. But at my camps, I'm working for about 75% less of the money I'd make if I were actually just watching 2-3 kids as many hours. I try to educate at camp and make it a learning experience, and am challenged this year with camp being cut back to 3 hours instead of 5 from last year. How to pick what to do has been hard as I want to do it all. I've got 2 sessions of Jr Rangers behind me though and 1 session each of Fishing Camp and Park Pals. Only 1 more Jr Rangers, 1 more Fishing, and 1 more Park Pals. August will be BUSY. Here are some photos from my first session of Jr Rangers.

I lied, this is from 4th of July programming
