I work weekends, I work long shifts, I work evenings and I work holidays. I make $12/hr and I have no benefits. I have a 35min - 3hour commute (depends on traffic). With all those downsides, you would think, why do you do it?! I ask myself that from time to time. Generally, I love my job and that's the biggest perk right there. I go to work and enjoy it, I feel fulfilled and happy. I'm outdoors (often but not always), with people (not always fun), and getting to share my passion of nature. A huge perk (in my mind) is that I sometimes get pretty cool nature experiences. The latest was getting the opportunity to hold some pretty amazing birds. They were beautiful!
