While house sitting down near work for two weeks at Bonnie's, I explored a new county park, the Rachel Carson Conservation Park. Rachel Carson spent most of her life living in Silver Spring which is fairly close to where I work. It is a small but sweet park. I visited when the Mountain Laurel was in full bloom. There was a trail down near the creek that was a corridor of white and pink flowers.
