The second leg of my trip back east was to see grandma and aunt Helga. They had just arrived the day after Dom and Lauren's wedding into Sebring, FL from Pennsylvania. My gram will spend the winter in Florida as she's been doing since before my birth. I assisted in opening up and cleaning her mobile home, bombing for cockroaches, and serving as a taxi driver. The weather was wonderful and my skin wasn't sure what to do w/ all that sunshine. I was sure to lube up with sunscreen and soaked in the rays while catching up on some reading. Gram made some yummy dishes and we did some shopping. On my last afternoon I got them to go to the local state park. After covering with bug spray we wandered the trails in search of some gators, no such luck but did see some cool insects, birds and plants. It made me sad though to see what most of Florida used to look like, swamp and what most of it is now, strip malls....at least this part was protected. It was good seeing grandma and aunt helga, and that ball of fire in the sky again.
