Last weekend was a first real taste of spring. With temperatures that allowed for t-shirts, jeans and flip flops! My buddy Arnold came over to visit me from Seattle for two days. It was a beautiful weather weekend and we had lots of good quality friend time with walks on the beach, meals, drinks with friends and relaxation in the trailer. It was good to have a friend visit me and I felt so lucky and happy that Arnold spent so much time with me --- it's so pleasant when you realize that someone values your friendship more than you ever thought!

The day Arnold left, Heather and I biked out to Ollie's 1st birthday part. Crazily enough, this was my idea. This was my first time back on the bike since the fall and I huffed it up those hills, and let me tell you, they were pretty monsterous --- and a 20 mile bike ride to boot. It felt good to get moving and using my muscles, pushing myself. It was a gorgeous day and the ride home was cake compared to the ride there. Here's to it really feeling like spring lately and time w/ friends!
