Vancouver is quite close to PT; actually closer than Portland, a city I've traveled to many times. I'm not sure in my mind why I've never been to this city before. Maybe it was the whole "going out of the country thing," regardless, the trip did not disappoint. On Day 2, Ken and I set out with a goal of Stanley Park - a famous large green park in the city. On the way, we came across the Olympic torch from the 2010 games, a digital orca and the totem poles in Stanley Park. It made for some good photo ops!
