Despite working on my birthday, it was a good day and my coworkers and volunteers who were at the festival in Seattle with me went out to dinner and the day was sunny and warm. David and I decided we'd celebrate my birthday the 9th though since I left at 5:30am on my birthday and didn't return till 11pm, and exhausted. So, on the 9th, he ended up inviting a bunch of people over to the boat and he filled the front full of ice, champagne and orange juice, then brought out a huge cake. I thought there was no way all that champagne would disappear, but over the course of 6 hours and probably 20 people, it was all gone. It was a fun day and I felt thankful to have a boyfriend who was so thoughtful.
