The PNW is known for their glass makers...apparently so is Italy and Australia. I've seen another glass exhibit, but David and I ventured to the permanent Glass Museum in Tacoma, an hour and a half away. It was cool, but we were both a little underwhelmed. The small museum in La Conner where I'd previously seen an exhibit had a docent who led us through --- I'm sure this made quite a difference, as in this museum, David and I blindly wandered through and read plackards. Amazing what people have created with such a delicate medium.

| Chihuly is probably the most famous glass maker in the PNW, this is his - looks like rock candy to me! |
 |
| More Chihuly outside in what looks like a covered walkway, it's really a class structure holding many many many different glass pieces. |
