The new year started off on a rough foot with David and I both recovering from bouts with the flu which were contracted the previous week. New Year's Eve was quite tame with movies and relaxing on the couch and cold medicine. Unfortunately for David, it was also his birthday, which was spent being indoors and doing the same activities we'd done the previous 5. It wasn't as bad as I project, and the next day we were able to get enough energy to go for a nice New Year's walk. We were lucky also in that the weather was quite balmy so we walked for two hours. I took my new camera and captured a few shots.
