Ken traveled to Seattle for a work conference a few weeks ago, so I journeyed there to see him and also invited Scott to join us. We dined near Pike's Place Market having a delicious French brunch. Ken had to leave unfortunately for his conference right after. I hadn't seen Scott for about a year so we enjoyed the beautiful day together. Scott was my roommate in DC for almost 4 years and left shortly after I left but moved to Santa Barbara for grad school. He's originally from Snohomish, a town north of Seattle, but has been living in Seattle since he came back to the PNW last year. We took a ride on the Ferris wheel down near the water, visited a distillery and brewery and walked through the market. Good times catching up and soaking up the sun.
