Whales of the Salish Sea

Another round of Whales of the Salish Sea successfully completed. In the last two weeks of March, I worked with other PTMSC staff to teach kids about plankton, food chains, marine mammals, whales, orca communication and ocean health. In the first week we saw nearly 80 kids and the second week 65. The program was developed three years ago and I was asked to teach in the pilot. It's been great to see this program develop and grow over the years. This past round I was the lead staff, in charge of logistics and coordinating with the schools. I'll also be working to help the schools complete post program projects. This is a program I am pleased to have been a part of and will take this experience with me. I always love it when I have more than 2 days with a group as I get to know many of their names. Good job Claudia!
