I camped like I'd never camped before. Dom's friends had met us the previous day with a shopping cart full of supplies. I'd just been thinking, granola bar for breakfast, Subway for lunch...well they made a chicken dish for dinner the night before and breakfast was Eggs, bacon, and waffles! Never before. It was tasty and it wasn't as complicated as I feared. Then we set out for activities. But. There was a wind advisory which meant no paddle boarding, snorkeling, boating. but we had to leave by 1pm anyway, so we just spent time exploring the state park.
We attended a talk about brown pelicans and Dom grabbed the camera and went wild.
Then we found a little nook on the beach and laid out to enjoy the warmth.
See ya later Key West, that was a lot of driving for a two day trip but now I can say I've been on the southern most U.S. tip, and the north western tip (in the contiguous states). Now just the northeastern and southwestern tips.
