Mush 'shrooms

Last week my friend and I went for a walk in a local state park. She's in a mushroom group and once we were on a trail they were everywhere so it ended up being like a mushroom forey. We found little puffball mushrooms and I ended up cooking and eating them. Don't worry mom & co...we went to the library and double checked it and broke it open and then she looked in her special mushroom book before we were sure it was an edible puffball. I dry sauted it, so it wasn't that good. Turns out that sauting it in butter is the trick. So, next time. But there were many beautiful mushrooms, which we didn't eat or touch, but just looked at. The puffballs are the little white ones in the first photo.
