Compared to this past summer, there hasn't been a ton going on which makes the winter even that much more of a challenge. I'm not much for the holidays however they've made for some special events in town - which were a nice break from the norm. Over the weekend Santa visited Port Townsend. This town is the first place he stops every year, you heard it from him! He came to the fountain downtown where everyone was gathered and made a long winded speech about texting, tweeting, emailing, blogging, video games, basically everything technology based - he was pretty much anti-technology.
After this, me and a few friends went downtown to partake in the gallery walk. This consisted of most of the shops staying open later and longer, including many galleries, and browsing stuff to buy while getting free appetizers and wine. We really went for the latter and were slightly disappointed but had fun together exploring anyway.
Lastly the night ended with a dance party at a local coffee shop. It was superhero themed and since i wasn't ready for that my friend arnold just painted some stuff on my face. It was pretty fun and by the end of the night, I'd been out of the town for 7 hours! Phew...

You can never go wrong with a dance party.
sounds like fun!
uh excuse me but my mom always says that our house is Santa's first stop...so there must be some misunderstanding. His speech sounds pretty awesome though. Have you watched Christmas Vacation yet this year cloudy??
