Giving the blood in the mobileAfter a long, boring week of work, this past weekend ended up being very eventful. On Saturday I went to the book sale and got some new books then hit up some yard sales. I had some good finds and then went home for lunch. On the way I discovered that the fort had a wellness fair with a blood mobile. I've been looking for places to donate for a while and I had time so I went over and donated a pint. Later that evening, I volunteered at the science center's auction.
The night didn't stop there though and I headed to a dance party in a car shop till around 1am. By the time I hit the pillow, daylight savings had kicked in and it was probably around 3am.
I got up the next day and was pretty exhausted and had my first nap in this house. I spent most of the day cleaning and getting some work done. I'd hoped to get those darn taxes done but just didn't muster up the will to get on my computer and instead watched tv for a while.
I'm back to the grind this week, with only a few more weeks to go on the project I've been working on since November. My supervisor will present everything to the customer and if they want more done, they'll give my supervisor money for me to finish, otherwise, I'll start working on bits and pieces of other projects. Should be interesting to find out what I will be doing though. Happy daylight savings!
