Marmot Pass

"If you do one hike in the Olympics, do Marmot Pass," say all the hiking books. I took their advice and took my friend Chris with me last week to see the marmots! We didn't seen any afterall, however we did see thousands of wildflowers. We seemed to hit the peak of their blooms and at times were surrounded by all colors of the rainbow. The hike itself was a challenge and by the time we hike the actual pass, I was pooped. We were graced with great weather as well.
After a little rest we hiked it back out. It was a good thing we left so early as there were group after group of people on their way in. The grand total distance was close to 11miles, wahoo!
