A visitor

Fahad came the whole way from New Jersey to visit Seattle last weekend. I met him for some lunch near Pike's Place and showed him around the market. Of course being a Sunday meant that it was a mob scene but we picked our way through and found a few less crowded areas. We made our way to the underground tour south of the city in Pioneer Square. While we waited for the tour we had some brews in the oldest Seattle restaurant, which is supposedly haunted -says the waitress. The underground tour of Seattle was pretty neat, showing and explaining how the city was once much lower, but rebuilt due to tidal flooding and a fire. They showed us underground skylights, old roads and sidewalks. Fahad kept me entertained and was quite the tourist snapping many photos and ohhing and ahhing. Before I had to hit it back to the country, we grabbed a light dinner and had some good conversation. Thanks for visiting Fahad!
Thanks for taking this pic of me Fahad! - I'm lookin' like a tourist at Pike's Place
