Dom asked prior to my trip - "what do you want to do when you come to Pittsburgh?" "Well see you of course," I replied. "I mean what do you want to do together?" "Anything! But...can we go to the zoo?" I asked. "Yes!" But as the days counted down and the temperatures rose, it looked like I probably wasn't going to get to go. Enter Dom's dad who had two free tickets to the zoo, now it was just convincing Dom. He just wasn't into the heat - but he went w/ me and actually had a good time. Most of the amazing animals were out and I forgot how much I love ALL animals, not just marine. It was good to see Dom smile and sweat --- this just doesn't happen where I live. To the animals!
