Last day in Vancouver - at UBC!

One of the spots I knew we'd have to hit up was the Beatty Biodiversity Museum on the UBC campus. They have a blue whale skeleton and a collection of 100s of animal specimans. You could spend the entire summer going through their collections and see something different each time - amazing stuff! They had other museums on campus that were a tease since an afternoon simply isn't enough time so I'll have to return later this summer. So cool!

Well hello Blue Whale

From below...size of a few buses

Ken used to have seahorses in his aquarium when he was a boy - I thought that meant he must have a photo w/ one!

Pretty feathers

While I'd never have one in my home, interesting to see up close

On the way out, one last photo, hard to get it all in the frame
