Central Coast

The day after Val's wedding, I had set two days until I was to be back at work because I wanted to drive the rental up the coast before heading back inland to San Jose. What a great decision. The drive was the best drive of my life, scenic vistas, sparkling water, beautiFUL! I wish I hadn't been driving so I could have stared out the window the whole way. I stopped at two state parks/lands. Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park - which actually where I was taking photos from used to be a family house, but then donated the lands after many years. And then Point Lobos State Reserve which is much further north and known for its wildlife.

It started out foggy and I was sad because I thought it meant I wouldn't see anything :(
Same photo as right, just artsy shot

But then it got clear and beautiful!

Julia Pfeffer Burns State Park, amazingly beautiful and view to the South

Same park, just view to the north
