Mykonos cont'd: Paradise Beach

After the car rental store opened, we made our way to Paradise Beach. The roads were narrow and flanked by stone walls. I didn't take any photos as I was gripping the door handle and seat as we narrowly missed hitting other cars and dodged people on ATV's and scooters without helmets - it was frightening. But then we located the beach, a free parking space and set off. Immediately I spotted a campground right next to the beach - awesome! Then we got the beach and read in the sun and basked in the beautiful waters of the Mediterranean which is as blue as you can imagine and so clear you get to see fish, anemones and other sea life. It was magical swimming in those waters and made me forget the madness of the roads and crazy party life of this island. And yes, there were naked people all over the beach, one who seemed to be greeting us as we arrived.
