There will be more pictures to come, but these are the first that Jason snapped in our first few days in our new apartment in Frederick, MD. I'm still seeking employment and volunteer opportunities and he's trekking it down to DC 4-6 days/week to do his professional handyman jobs. Wish me luck and send me positive energy. Moving in December is a toughie. This is a time where the focus is the holidays and many people aren't even in the office to consider applicants. I've applied to over 20 jobs, many of which were scams on Craigslist (found out after the fact) or not necessarily up my alley. I've cold emailed people who own or work at businesses that interest me. And I've considered serving again. When I realized that nothing was going to happen in December, I put my energies toward getting our place set up and ready for visitors that were to come (college roommates came), and energies toward anticipated friend and family holiday time together. The hardest has been being patient that a job up my alley will come. I'm a person who identifies herself with her career, and now since the holidays are through, I've been having trouble getting a set schedule and functioning without a job to go to where money is made to pay bills that still come. Wish me luck!
