The Port Townsend Marine Science Center in the grand parade!

A week ago was the Rhody Fest in PT. Named and originally created to celebrate all the beautiful rhodedendrans in town. It is now a bunch of different parades, a carnival and a road race. Mid week was the pet parade where anyone was welcome to walk with their pets, which included not just cats and dogs, but mice, fish, rats, birds, hamsters, etc. I also attended the trike race which is kids racing their tricycles for a block and then the bed races. The bed races are where a team of four people push a person on a bed down the street and they are racing as well. Then there was teh grand parade which I walked in with the Marine Science Center. It was pretty big and schools came from as far as Seattle area to march.
