The month of April was filled with rain and winds but also a fun trip down to Bremerton, for some roller skating! Me, the science center gals and one of their boyfriends, Rick, made a trip for some good old fashion roller skating. I hadn't been since middle school. It took a while to get my skating legs but once I did it was surprisingly fun to roller around in a circle for an hour. The music was sub-par and they never played my Earth, Wind and Fire request but I did play the hokie pokie - not well. I finally got to see some tulips bloom, albeit cut flowers around easter...maybe next year I'll plan the trip to the Kitsap tulip festival closer to when they actually bloom. Potluck made a mini comeback as well since our friend Gwen and Joe (the original potluck masters) were coming through town. It was fun to have everyone in one spot and share food once again. There were some really Easter cool eggs there as well. See below.
