Earlier this week, actually Monday, to start off the week - we saw Orcas!!! This is the second time I've been able to see them from shore, and the 3rd time ever. They were probably around 1-2 miles away but w/ binoculars, they were visible, traveling north. You could see their breath as they swam through the water. There must have been 15-20 as they often surfaced in a line one after another. A group of us ran up to Point Wilson, next to the lighthouse to get a good view. A reminder of the amazing place I live in!
