Back in action - step 1. Soltice

Yes, I know I've been a bad little blogger. I'm jumping back on the wagon and hoping to hang on to what is left of summer. It kicked off with the beautiful, longest day of the year soltice! I feel like people out here celebrate this holiday much more than the east. Maybe it has something to do with the lack of sunshine in the winter? Most likely. Well, plus it's light here from 4:30am-10pm, which is sweetness even though it hasn't been much warmer than 60ish.

I spent the day with my lovely friend I-kwoan and her fam (little Ollie, hubbie Evan and doggie Baer). We had a fab dinner and then walked down to the beach where we basked in the sun and found little crab larvae (megalops). Happy Summer, finally! Oh how I love thee!
