I woke up in Gillete, WY, and started up early again in hopes of making serious progress. Along the day I stopped to see the Badlands, beautiful grasslands and rocks that have been eroded over 45 million years. The day was hot and my patience way low, so I took the scenic path, but made my way through on the road without many stops. I was determined to get through South Dakota and had a goal of La Crosse, WI. The miles were much more than I could do that day though and around 6pm, decided to make camp at Flying Goose Campground in Imogene, MN. The next blog will be about that stay.
